About Us
Based in the Philadelphia suburb of Radnor, Pennsylvania, Conestoga Capital Advisors LLC is an independent investment advisory firm specializing in the management of small cap equities. Conestoga presently manages approximately
$347 million in client assets as of June 30, 2010. We are committed to the small cap sector, defined as companies having market capitalizations of more than $100 million and less than $2 billion. Our style is best described as small cap conservative growth, employing a "growth at a reasonable price" valuation methodology. Conestoga Capital Advisors utilizes a fundamental, bottom-up research approach and employs a fully invested, long-term investment approach.

Our History
Managing Partner William C. Martindale, Jr. co-founded Martindale Andres & Company in 1989. Robert M. Mitchell joined Martindale Andres in 1995, shortly before the company was purchased by Keystone Bank. Operating as the investment arm of Keystone, Martindale Andres grew to manage approximately $2.3 billion in assets. $800 million of these assets were invested in equities, of which $400 million were small cap in nature. Bill and Bob co-managed the small cap assets at Martindale Andres and have functioned as a team for
thirteen years. In 2000, Keystone Bank was purchased by M&T Bank, allowing for the purchase of certain assets and the portability of Bill and Bob's small cap performance record. In July of 2001, they formed Conestoga Capital Advisors with fellow founding Managing
Partners, W. Christopher Maxwell and Duane R. D'Orazio.
